Hey all,
I have plans to create a Clan on Kingdom of Loathing. This clan will contain blind and visually impaired peple from all over the world. If you're a newbie, the goal would be to help you and answer any questions about KoL and help you as much as possible. I'd love for this clan to be one of the friendliest in KoL. a clan where we don't need to worry about scammers and clan looters, and where we can trust each other completely. Trust is something that seems to be lacking in KoL unfortunately which can be extremely frustrating at times. For higher level players, I'm planning on having Dungeon dives. They're extremely fun, and the items that drop are awesome. I've participated in many runs, but getting a piece of loot and truly enjoying yourself is almost impossible because the clan is huge. If anyone's interested in joining, reply to this thread, or Kmail me on KoL directly. username is musicman2004. If I get enough interest, I'll get the clan started right away. P. S. Any ideas for a name?

sounds great!. keep me updated if you create it

Post 3 by Owen Deathstalker (Generic Zoner) on Wednesday, 25-Mar-2009 19:12:24

Time keeper, what's your KoL username? You'll probably be one of the first to join since I haven't gotten replies on this thread. Just so you guys know, I'm planning to have a limitted number of players in my clan in order for people to truly enjoy themselves and for easier management, dungeon diving etc. so if people want to join let me know as soon as possible either on this thread or on KoL. username is musicman2004 and the ID is 339006. I'm still looking for an interesting clan name. any ideas?

Post 4 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Thursday, 26-Mar-2009 18:51:35

i am a really active player, and will be happy to try anything once

Post 5 by Selene (Generic Zoner) on Friday, 27-Mar-2009 1:49:29

For some reason I cannot access my old account, which I haven't played for a few months, but I am going to create a new one/new character, so I cannot say what my user name will be right this second, but, after reading this post, I wanted to give you a heads up and say that I will want to join.

Post 6 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Friday, 27-Mar-2009 4:38:48

celene, your acount on the game gets removed after you don't play for 990 days. you should be okay

Post 7 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Friday, 27-Mar-2009 4:40:23

i meant 90, not sure wheere the extra 9 came from

Post 8 by Bryan (This site is so "educational") on Friday, 27-Mar-2009 10:58:49

let me know what you come up with, user name is zentar7, have 2 other players and a small clan, as far as the 90 days, think they don't delete your plaier anymore.
Bryan

Post 9 by Owen Deathstalker (Generic Zoner) on Friday, 27-Mar-2009 21:38:46

Ok my clan has been created. I have a full rumpus roomwhich contains equipment that'll give you extra adventures, a snack machine, a sofa for hp/mp regeneration, and the klaw game set up. All that's left now is the basement for the dungeon itself which costs 10 million meat, plus another million to open the sewers. Quite expensive, but definitely worth it and extremely fun. Kmail me on KoL if you're interested in joining and I'll get you in. musicman2004

Post 10 by sweetthing (Newborn Zoner) on Monday, 16-Aug-2010 20:24:10

I am Sweetthing on Kingdom of Loathing and I am very new to the game. Just sign up today. Please feel free to add me

Post 11 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Monday, 16-Aug-2010 23:00:05

I lost interest in the game after a while.

Post 12 by odicy (Zone BBS Addict) on Friday, 20-Aug-2010 6:56:27

I would joing but I just joined another clan. I wish I had read this before. but anywho. can someone help me?
I'm trying to kill the goblen king but he keeps killing me before I can do anything.
any tips?

Post 13 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 20-Aug-2010 9:00:08

That's why I lost interest the first time. The second time I couldn't even get past the boss bat. And the Wiki really wasn't much help to be quite honest. I think my character was at level 8 or 9 or thereabouts.

Post 14 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Friday, 20-Aug-2010 13:33:31

Hi,
What you need is something powerful like a beer bomb or molotov cocktail. Something you can throw at the goblin or the boss bat that will inflict a good hundred points of damage or so. It also depends on what class you are though. If you're a saucerer or pastamancer, you can probably use a skill like wave of sauce if you have it. I've never been a moxy class, so I can't say for sure what the best way to go about that is, but muscle classes, as I said, do better to use something like a beer bomb because at that point you're not quite strong enough to use your weapon to fight hard enemies like that.

Post 15 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 21-Aug-2010 11:29:04

Problem is it seems like you level up incredibly slowly in that game. I've thought about getting back into it but I'm not sure.

Post 16 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 21-Aug-2010 13:15:50

And as for accounts being deleted after 90 days of non use I don't think that's true anymore. This morning I tried creating a new character since I wanted to start over with a different class in response to Screaming Turtle's advice. It told me both my character name and Email address were still in use. I recovered my password and sure enough my old character, a Seal Clubber as I recall, was still there even after about a year of not having been used.

Post 17 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Saturday, 21-Aug-2010 17:44:48

Yeah, it's been about a year since they stopped deleting accounts. I guess in your case it's a good thing, but it's annoying sometimes in terms of clan activity. Our clan has over 300 members, but the majority are inactive.

Post 18 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 21-Aug-2010 18:36:07

That's why they ought to have an option to delete your own account since I actually wanted to do that. My current character is a Seal Clubber and I have no idea how one obtains or makes Beer Bombs or whatnot so I can finish off that damn Boss Bat. I don't even remember what my character's using or wearing.

Post 19 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Saturday, 21-Aug-2010 23:12:18

Is this your first ascension? See if you can get them in the mall, but I forget what level you have to be in order to go to the mall during your first one. It's either 4 or 6 though, I'm almost sure.

Post 20 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 21-Aug-2010 23:41:35

I don't even know what the heck Ascention is all about so I couldn't tell you. I've never made it past the Gobblin King, and I only got that far with my very first character a few years ago. He was a Disco Bandit.

Post 21 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 22-Aug-2010 14:29:42

Well I finally managed to make it ppast the GObblin King, more out of sheer luck than anything else. I somehow managed to get my max HP up to the point where his hitting me for almost 40 damage didn't kill me outright. And thanks to some exploration of the Mall I did find some beer bombs. Luckily it only took one of them to finish him off. BUt now I'm stuck on the Fat Fryers' quest. I've gotten one of the items but those darn imps are still hitting me for close to twenty damage. I wish it wasn't so durn hard to level up!

Post 22 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 22-Aug-2010 18:22:39

I'd definitely be interested in joining.

Post 23 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Monday, 23-Aug-2010 0:51:46

I hear ya on the imps. They're some of the toughest monsters you come across. The only thing I can suggest is for you to look through your inventory and see if you have any equipment such as weapons, pants or hats that either absorb or cause hot damage. Shields are good too if you have them for any type of damage absorption, but remember if you have a 2-handed weapon you can't equip an off-hand item such as a shield.
When you've defeated the naughty sorceress, you have the option to ascend. Basically you do that to acquire permanent skills. So say you've bought a really cool skill from the trainer that you want to have on your character forever, well you ascend to obtain that. You have to go through a thousand turns of Ronin, which is where all your meat and items are kept in storage, and you can only take out 20 items or 20000 meat a day, or some combination thereof. You also can't receive buffs while you're in Ronin. Speaking of which, have you ever used a buffbot before? There again you might be able to pick up a few things that can help with damage absorption. I'll post the one I use if you want. Unfortunately, you do have to pay meat for them, but the one I use is pretty cheap. There used to be a free one, but it shut down, which I'm still kind of pissed about.

Post 24 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 23-Aug-2010 10:14:38

I don't have anything to do with hot damage so far as I know. And anyway I'm not sure if my Seal Clubber would meet the stat requirements.

Post 25 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Tuesday, 24-Aug-2010 18:43:42

Level 5 for the mall, and no they do not delete accounts for inactivaty. As for the clan you can all ways join mine Eric Cartman's sweet clan we got VIP ferniture full ball pit and more. You should get buffed buffbot is no more, but here is a link to a good one. Get all the sauce spheres, and the abzorption, and pointy one, also the jinglebells one, and the turtle tamer ones would help too.

Post 26 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Tuesday, 24-Aug-2010 18:52:39

Also need beer bombs message me in game jb77 I'll hook you up. If you join my clan you get a free rank message me with the word zonebbs once you join, and I'll give you a free rank!

Post 27 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Tuesday, 24-Aug-2010 21:14:52

Well Beer Bombs have actually been fairly easy to come by. I found some in the Mall. That's how I was able to thrash the Gobblin King. But I'm two items away from completing Fat Fryers, although I forget now which item I found. It was in the Dark Neck as I recall since I'm currently fighting my way through the Dark Heart.

Post 28 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Tuesday, 24-Aug-2010 21:19:36

The thing is, they just recently made that quest a lot easier. Apparently now it's supposed to take 30 or less adventures to complete. At the moment I'm working on getting to level 30 for a turtle tamer trophy, but I'm definitely looking forward to flying through it during my next ascension.

Post 29 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 0:22:13

Easy? Problem is I think you have to do it nonstop and my HP just aren't up to that. And I don't have the meat to just buy a whole bunch of Beer Bombs and Homeopathic Elixirs or whatever. I don't know what's more annoying, those Imps or those Fallen Archfiends. But for those who are curious my username is Xarniwhoop. It's a name, though probably misspelled here, that i found in the Hitchhiker's GUide books. And since KOL boasts a similar brand of humor I thought I'd come up with a name to fit. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to leave the clan I'm in. It's Hyrule for those who are curious.

Post 30 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 1:42:24

That's true, your first ascension is always the hardest, that was a little insensitive of me. But it's supposedly easier than it was, so look on the bright side, at least you're potentially not struggling as much as most people did their first time. As for not being able to leave a clan, I'm not sure how that works, but I'll look into it.

Post 31 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 10:14:22

I just wish it didn't take so long to level up! It might make things a little easier.

Post 32 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 13:09:41

Its easy to leve a clan go to the membership roster check leve clan, and then the button that says leve clan, or update button.

Post 33 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 13:17:42

Ah ok. I did see that link but never thought to check it.

Post 34 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 13:56:00

Well I figured it out. So I applied to Eric Cartman's Sweet Clan after leaving Hyrule. Man I like that Having a Ball effect. Just gotta get it when I've got a decent supply of adventures so I can finally take care of the Fat Fryers' quest and banish the Imps. Then I wanna get some more Seal Clubbing Skills.

Post 35 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 20:17:26

Speaking of, since they don't actually have skills relating to it can Seal Clubbers cook? I have an E Z Cook Oven but I don't think I know enough about this sort of thing to know what I can cook with and what not.

Post 36 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 20:21:37

Yes, they can. The only things you can't really cook are any of the pasta recipes, and you can't make a lot of booze either.

Post 37 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 20:37:44

Well I'm not a big fan of booz personally. Only reason I bother with it is because I don't know much about cooking.

Post 38 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 22:41:40

Unless you get the sweet discobanded skills that allow you to make good booz. There are 4 skills needed to make good food, and one Seel Clubber skill to smash things in to wads. You need the to saucerer and 2 pastamancer ones to make ramen, and meine.

Post 39 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 22:42:15

So I have to ascend first.

Post 40 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 14:24:12

Well if you want to perm the skills need to make them, but you can buy them from the mall. Ramen isn't to bad about 3k a piece, hi meine is more expencive. One skill you might want to get is the skill that allows you to where shirts. You have to acend with a moxey sign and there is a ariea that will open up at the beach where you can get the skill. I would deffently perm that. When you acend you can make one skill from your run as a permanent skill, but you have to do a normal run you will have limited access to your items for the first 1000 adventures, but its worth it to perm a skill. I hope this isn't to much info for you.

Post 41 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 18:36:59

It is still a little confusing. But I've got something of more immediate concern. I've recently undertaken Doc Galactic's Quest for Herbs. I managed to get three Swindleblossoms, and when I Undefile the Cyrpt I need to get three Shisterweeds. Problem is I missed one of the three bundles of Fraudwart, which I could have gotten in I believe the Dark ELbow of the WOods from Demoninjas. When I discovered quite by accident that I already had all three of the necessary items I jumped the gun and completed the quest. So what I'm wondering is if I can still get that last Fraudwart if I adventure at the Deep Fat Fryers' Gate.

Post 42 by LeoGuardian (You mean there is something outside of this room with my computer in it?) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 19:03:33

Hadn't played in about a year, I am working on the Naughty Sorceress's quest so will probably leave my clan and try and join yours. They only give you a certain amount of adventures per day, and yes do the beer bomb thing if you can. I did Goblin King without it as a turtle tamer, and you get beat up pretty good!

Post 43 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 19:14:51

I'm a Seal clubber myself.

Post 44 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 21:20:58

Yes you can get the last one at the fryer's gate.

Post 45 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 23:36:48

Cool. I'll have to wait till my adventure supply restocks so I can jump in the ballpit again. The monsters at the Gate seem a lot tougher than they were in the various parts of the woods.

Post 46 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 27-Aug-2010 13:25:28

Well I've cleared out one of the sections of the Cyrpt, but unless I can find a more convenient way to level up I'm going to have to do one section a day since I'm most effective after a romp in the ball pit in the Clan Rumpus Room. And since you can only do that once a day to avoid abusing it. Well I undefiled the Alcove so I just have the Nook, Niche and Cranny, and of course the Heart of the Cyrpt as well.

Post 47 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Friday, 27-Aug-2010 13:42:20

Did you open the temple yet? In the woods if you haven't its a good way to level up, and you need it unlocked for the level 11 quest along with the second floor of the Manner. If you ever are stuck or just want to know about something in KoL you can go to the KoL Wicky. Note this site will tell you everything about quests, familiars exetra, so if you wish to find stuff out on your own don't go here, but you can look up little things with out spoilling larger quests. Also its best to navagate by headings on this site, since it is a wicky the articals are written, and edited by players of KoL, so sometimes things may not be known, or new things might not be on the wicky yet, but it is a verry reliable site.

http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Main_Page

Post 48 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 27-Aug-2010 14:04:05

Oh I use the Wiki. I haven't yet entered the Temple because I don't have furtilizer for the sappling. Maybe I will go do that. It seems though that even though a specific quest may open up at, say, level six you're not necessarily ready for it when you get to that level because the enemies are extremely strong and sometimes you don't even hit them.

Post 49 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Friday, 27-Aug-2010 14:07:41

Yep even with a skill that makes me some what rezistent to hot dammage I still get beetten up at the fryers gate at level7, and then there's the problom of my spells backfiring on me.

Post 50 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Friday, 27-Aug-2010 14:14:52

I think there is 2 Seelclubber skills for damage obzorption I'm going to get advenchelly.

Post 51 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 27-Aug-2010 16:05:50

I've got them both. Hide of the Otter and then Hide of the Walrus. But I think I want to wait on entering the Temple until I've dealt with the Cyrpt and finished Doc Galactic's Quest for Herbs since the last two herbs I need come from the Cyrpt or the Semetary.

Post 52 by roxtar (move over school!) on Friday, 27-Aug-2010 21:09:14

dude awesome, haven't played this game in like 2 years, but I'm thinking about starting again.
I'd definately join the clan if there's a spot.
I've already ran the game once back in the day, but I'd play again.

Post 53 by Alexander vongrippen (Veteran Zoner) on Saturday, 28-Aug-2010 0:33:54

Hmmm.Sounds interesting.I created a account a year before, and stopped playing my character because of the All mighty sryth. Now though, as I am no longer a AG member there,I've started playing my Character on koL.I'd like to join the clan,if there are any spots left that is.I must say though. The quests there are, well not that good.As say,I got a cake from a baker, and he wanted me to light the candles on it.How the F was I suppose to know,to go and kiss the shef?lol. But its cool.My character's name is salazay. Can't remember the ID now.I am level 5.

Post 54 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Saturday, 28-Aug-2010 17:41:41

Sure guys, there's always room in our clan.

Post 55 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 28-Aug-2010 20:40:34

Wait I've got the unlit birthday cake but I've no clue where I got it or how to light it? I'm confused?

Post 56 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 28-Aug-2010 20:46:38

Never mind, I figured it out. The Wiki does help even though sometimes it is a bit confusing. Now I guess it's back to the Cyrpt when my adventures refill...

Post 57 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Saturday, 28-Aug-2010 23:42:23

Yeah, I used to hate the way the Wiki is laid out too, but I got used to it after awhile.

Post 58 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 29-Aug-2010 2:26:42

Yeah Eric Cartman's sweet clan isn't closing its open to anyone except scammers. As screaming_turtle said there is allways room in our clan. If you jump by headings you can get down to the articals pritty quick its not bad when you get the hang of it. The only quests you have to do in order to acend your lern about that later if you don't know are the councel quests. Everything else you can just do for fun, The White Sitital quest is sweet its a guild quest.

Post 59 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 29-Aug-2010 14:53:45

One thing I find really handy about the Clan is the daily Meat. THe Ball Pit's pretty nifty too. Might not have been able to finish the Cyrpt so quickly if it hadn't been for that since otherwise I'd have had to blow all my now 11K meat on Beer Bombs. The rewards for that quest were kinda cool, especially once you open the Chest...

Post 60 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 29-Aug-2010 22:05:48

The only thing that sucked about getting the ball pit was it was something you got from the travilling trader who showes up in the market square with items you can trade twinkly wads for. So he is offering to trade a colorful plastic ball which some how we managed to get all 10000, but what stinks about it is new clans can't get it unless there enough cheep balls floting around the kingdom. Its really cool cause it used to be a blank space, but it should of been like the other ferniture where you can buy it in the rumpus room. Now I'm werried that the last 2 are going to be with the trader, and I might miss one. I'm going to stock up on wads just encase. I hope they are saving one to push out at Crimbo if you didn't know there are different holladays in KoL. Crimbo being the best you get a calendar wich u got a choclate each day, and on Dec first there is a quest to do in Crimbo Town. There is allways a new outfit, and familiar. At the end of my first Crimbo the pegwin mophiea took over Crimbo. If you haven't yet read about them on the wicky they are really cool. They own the raffel house, and the Unkle P's Anteeks shop.

Post 61 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 29-Aug-2010 22:41:44

That's in Seaside Town is it not? I think I've seen it.

Post 62 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Sunday, 29-Aug-2010 23:07:31

Yeah, it's on the wrong side of the tracks. They sell a new item there on the 15th of every month. They're expensive, but worth it because they're different quests. Unfortunately once it's gone it's gone, you can't get any of the items for the previous quests. They also sell an outfit there, but each piece costs 1000000 meat, and that's beyond ridiculous.

Post 63 by Alexander vongrippen (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 5:32:42

Ok.AM level 6 now,I think.Anyways was wondering which clan to join.So what clans are you guys in?And yeah screaming_turtle I have applyed to your clan,I think.Or was it deathstalker.Don't know.

Post 64 by Alexander vongrippen (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 5:34:02

Oops.Forgot it.I have 4 of those wads.

Post 65 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 14:53:22

Well I made my first trip to the Spooky Temple. All I can say is Disastrous. I lost a bunch of Muscularity points and seeming as a result of that I lost all the skills I'd trained. GRRR! And right after I'd gained a level, becoming an Otter Crusher. LOL.

Post 66 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 16:55:52

It's not that you've lost your skills, it's just that you need the muscularity points to use them. All you have to do is rest at your campsite for a few adventures, the mp will come back, and you're good to go. Or you can get some scrolls of drastic healing from the mall, though I have no idea what they cost because I have so many that i never really had to buy them.

Post 67 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 16:58:13

Um its not possable to lose skills you trained in the temple you lose mp, and hp, but you also gane stats, but you don't lose skills. The clan is Eric Cartman's sweet clan.

Post 68 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 18:02:17

What I don't get is the way your max HP seems to fluctuate. When I went to the temple I had over a hundred HP as my max. Then I failed a few traps and lost all those Muscularity Points I suddenly had a max of only about 65 or so. Needless to say that was more than a little disconcerting. But I may have to go look for some of these scrolls since right now I can't even rest at my camp site due to a complete lack of adventures. And it would help if I could find something to put at my camp site that would heal more with a single rest. Maybe I should check out the mall again. I may need some more beer bombs. As for the skill thing I suppose that makes sense. All I know is that when I checked my skill combo box it didn't even have any skills in it to select. Later on it did occur to me that maybe that was only because all my MP had been exhausted in the traps.

Post 69 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 18:14:27

And then of course after my last post I go back into the game to have a look at the mall and while I was there I suddenly remembered all the food I'd picked up during my latest set of adventures. So there were my extra adventures right in front of me LOL. So thankfully I did manage to get rid of my Beaten Up effect that I'd had since last night. So I should be ready once rollover comes tonight to have another chat with the Council for another quest.

Post 70 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 19:23:57

The beaten up effect drops your stats by half I think, so that would explain why your max hp seemed lower while you had it. If you want to get more hp and mp while you're resting, you should make a pagoda for your campsite. You can look up how to make them on the Wiki. You can also buy a cottage, or make one if you have the items. All you need for that is anticheese and a bowl of cottage cheese. You can also make a beanbag chair by combining a filthy knitted dred sack and a hill of beans.

Post 71 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 21:57:38

I'll look those up later tonight. Maybe i'll even have another go at the temple.

You just go into messages, and type in either LadySnarf which is my character name or jb77. We're the 2 leaders of the clan.

I'm new to KOl and I wanna join your clan. Can I joun?

Post 75 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Tuesday, 31-Aug-2010 17:25:04

Yes you don't even have to ask anyone can join click on clan, type in Eric Cartman's sweet clan in the search field, and hit the aplie button. Your aplacation will be excepted as soon as Screaming Turtle or I see it! Also when you join a clan take advantages a clan has to offer. Go to the rumpus room there are 3 meat plants you can pick once a day pick them every day if you remember you will get up to 3000 meat. You can play the claw game 3 times a day, rest by using the sofa, and jump in the ball pit geving a effect that will boost your stats for like 20 adventures. There are books in there that give 5 plus adventures at rollover. If you ever have any questions you can message me hear, or in KoL my player name is Jb77. Rollover is the time every night the Kingdom shuts down for a half an hour or so 10 30 eastern time, and when the clocks spring forward 11 30. Its when they add adventures to your account, pick the raffel winners, push out any new content, load holladays, stuff like that. If you ever have over 200 adventures in KoL you want to get them down to 200 before Rollover, or else your lose them, the max amount of adventures you can after rollover is 200.

Post 76 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Tuesday, 31-Aug-2010 23:43:43

Oh I always use the Meat Plant. And I definitely use the Ball Pit when I know I'm going after a Council Quest.

Post 77 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 01-Sep-2010 20:40:27

I'm not quite ready to tackle the Level 8 quest (I think I'll adventure at the Temple until I'm level 9 first), but it sounds interesting. I ought to look at the stats for the Linolium Sword to see if it's any better than the Swayed shortsword (SP?) that I'm using now.

Post 78 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Thursday, 02-Sep-2010 20:49:42

Hey guys, just wanted to bring this to your attention if you don't know already. There's a new zone in the plains called Digg's Dig, you get some items for a new outfit, some skulls that become monsters you can fight (but they're very tough to beat unless you have the outfit equipped) and more. It had a bad start, so now each player can only adventure in it 30 times a day, but it's better than nothing I guess, and I guess more stuff will be revealed about it as time goes by. You have to go to Digg's Tent first to get the special archaeologist's shovel, equip it, and it crumbles after 30 turns.

Hi, I saw that today.Well what I was wondering about is, what can you do with the wing torso and spine and such things?I have some of limbs, torso, wings, worm skull, spine, serpent skull and volcanic something, and a pot shard.Any help would be great.

Post 80 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 03-Sep-2010 14:17:51

I'm completing the Level 8 quest. Well I will be once my adventures refill since I spent most of the ones I got this last Rollover getting a pair of Miners' Pants and three chunks of Linolium Ore for my new sword. Next I need six chunks of cheese, which I'll go for tonight after Rollover.

Post 81 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 03-Sep-2010 14:38:43

Except for the fact that I've run into a snag. I thought I still had one after getting the Linolium Sword but I discovered much to my chagrin that I apparently sold my Dwarven Mattock. And now I can't even go back to try and get another one. But without one I can't progress to the next part of the quest. GRRR!

Post 82 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 03-Sep-2010 19:10:20

Well never mind. I did manage to reacquire one, so now I'm in the Goatlet. When my adventures refill it's off to get some cheese...

Post 83 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Friday, 03-Sep-2010 20:01:23

Ok for the volcanic ash and potsherds, you combine them and they turn into smoked potsherds. You can then use the smoked potsherds in groups of 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11 to get an outfit. When you use 5, it creates a yo-yo which you can zap to get a familiar, the pottery barn owl. Zapping is done by going to the dungeons of doom and opening it, then you have to get the non-combat adventure which lets you go into a shop. You purchase the cloak for 1000 meat, then fight the monster it produces, and then you get a marble wand which can be used once a day to zap items. The marble wand can be found in your inventory under quest items once you have it, and there's a link that says zap, and you just select the pottery yo-yo from the combo box and you have a familiar.

Post 84 by Alexander vongrippen (Veteran Zoner) on Saturday, 04-Sep-2010 0:56:26

Wow.Thanks.But do you know what can we do with the skull torso and etc things?I was thinking that we could create something out of it too.I am on the surpt quest now, and I think that I need to have more mussel to adventure there. As they hit me for 13 to 14 damage .

Post 85 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 04-Sep-2010 11:36:44

If you can I'd go to the Hidden Temple first and train there. If you haven't unlocked it yet you need to go to the Spooky Forest. Adventure there until you have the Sppoky Sapling, Spooky Grow Furtilizer and Spooky Temple Map. Use the Furtilizer on the Sapling and then use the Map. You need the Sapling in order to enter the temple. But for each trap you avoid in the temple you get a substat bonus, usually around 50 or so. you can gain Muscle and Mysticality pretty quickly that way.

Post 86 by Alexander vongrippen (Veteran Zoner) on Saturday, 04-Sep-2010 13:31:41

Ahh, I had unlocked it before but forgot about it.Lol.Anyways I finished that quest. The bonerdragon was a lill hard, but I got some buffs cast on me and with the help of my pal defeated that guy. Now on to the mountain quest.Thanks.

Post 87 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 04-Sep-2010 19:24:57

I just used the Ball Pit anytime I had any combats. Of course it also helped that I had a good supply of Beer Bombs. I'm just on the last part of the mountain quest now. I need to get an EXtreme Scarf before the trapper will let me go up there with him. That's one area where I think the Wiki is inaccurate. It says acquire any amount of cold resistance but the Trapper won't let you go up the mountain with him unless you get the complete outfit or some other means of having cold resistance. But I've already got the mittens and the pants so I might as well try for the scarf.

Post 88 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 05-Sep-2010 22:38:49

Ok so I'm now sort of stuck on the Strange Leaflet Quest. I've done all the main parts, gotten the sword, cut the hedge, gottena nd lit the stick, killed the snake, gotten the Grue Egg and the Instant House, gotten the spell scrolls and lastly Cleeshed the Giant. But now I'm at a loss for what to do. THe Wiki says you get rewarded with 200 to some substats but I'm not sure how you get that or if it's available every run. After cleeshing the giant and getting his ring I'm once again still on the giant's table. You can climb back down into the forest but you can't seem to leave. It says something about that damn maze. And the Wiki doesn't really say what to do at that point. And typing Win Game doesn't do anything. So I'm sort of at a loss.

Post 89 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 05-Sep-2010 23:05:59

Yep once you kill the giant thats pritty much it I haven't found anything about the stats. Next time you do it though check the mantle if there is a bolling trophy take it it unlocks a trophy, and look in the fire place you can get kleesh as a real skill. You can't get back to the house as fare as I know.

Post 90 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 05-Sep-2010 23:16:43

Well it wasn't a bowling trophy but a model of a brick building. So now once my adventures refill I have to go for the Orc Chasm Quest. I have to take three more trips with The Shore. Inc before I get the Dinghy Plans. Then I can make a Dingy Dinghy since I took the liberty of getting the Planks from the Hermit. But as for the Leaflet the Wiki does actually say you earn 200 to some substats, so it is rather confusing if they took that out.

Post 91 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Wednesday, 08-Sep-2010 22:08:32

Lol yeah thats odd I'll look in to that for you. Nice thats a fairly easy quest the dictionary does a lot of damage to the monsters in the Cassem.

Post 92 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 09-Sep-2010 3:44:18

Problem is that the Adding Machine's confusing the heck out of me. I've got all the scrolls but can't be sure if I'm doing it in the right order. I read the Wiki but it is a bit confusing to me. I start with the two 334 scrolls, then the 668 scroll that results and then the 30669 scroll. I end up with a 64067 scroll that seems to have no use. Any help would be appreciated.

Post 93 by rusty81 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Thursday, 09-Sep-2010 8:41:51

Fight until you collect two 334 Scrolls, a 33398 Scroll and a 30669 Scroll. You will now need to combine these scrolls by using them in combat agains a Rampaging Adding Machine. Combine the two 334 Scrolls together to get a 668 Scroll, then combine the 30669 and 33398 Scrolls to get a 64067 Scroll. Combine the 64067 scroll with the 668 scroll to finally make the 64735 scroll. Use the 64735 scroll to complete the quest and you will get a Drywall Axe (150 power) as a reward. You can now sell the facsimile dictionary for 21337 meat. As a bonus, you can also make a 31337 Scroll out of a 668 Scroll with a 30669 Scroll.
hope this helps...

Post 94 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 09-Sep-2010 14:02:46

Ah. I think that's where I've been going wrong. I combined the 30669 scroll with the 668.

Post 95 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Thursday, 09-Sep-2010 16:15:45

Yeah, but that one is useful too. If you use that scroll, it will give you backdoor access to the hermit, meaning you won't need hermit permits. You'll still need the worthless trinkets and stuff though. It will also give you a stat script which you can use and you gain a bunch of muscle, mysticality and moxy. Make sure you use this scroll before you finish the quest though, as I just discovered that if you try to go back for it later it won't let you create the right one.

Post 96 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 09-Sep-2010 17:29:31

When I first started playing in 07 you could conbind them with meat paste they changed it after NS13 and it anoyed me for a while. One skill you can get to get this done twice as fast is a disko bandet skill that lets you use 2 conbat items at a time instead of 1. Its really a cool skill.

where can we fine the grease, monkey scripts for kingdom of lothing?
i used it before
and now i cant fine it anymore!

Post 98 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 10-Sep-2010 12:58:14

Well I finally finished the quest. So what's the deal with the Faximilie Dictionary? I notice the considerable selling price and I'm definitely tempted. Is it a combat item? Is it worthwhile in that respect or should I just go ahead and sell it?

Post 99 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Friday, 10-Sep-2010 13:53:01

Yes, it can be used as a combat item, it can also be used as a meat pasting component. You can make a couple of different swords with it. I don't remember the recipes off the top of my head, but you can take a look around the Wiki. I usually sell it, but that's not to say you can't go ahead and make the swords, as I think they do a considerable amount of damage.

Post 100 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Friday, 10-Sep-2010 18:03:36

You can find a list for all the grease, monkey scrips here, and the links to get them!
http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Greasemonkey

As for the dictionary if you got the turtle tamer crafting skills or maybe its the Seel Clubber skill I forget you can smith it with a Crome sword to make the sweet sword behind inappropriate prepositions which gives plus 5 adventures when equiped through rollover.

Post 101 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 10-Sep-2010 23:09:40

Well I definitely need a decent weapon or maybe some better armor in order to tackle the Giant Trash Quest. More trips to the Hidden Temple I guess...

please help i cant find/fight The Big Wisniewski aka "This Guy i'm waring frat war uniform
i killed all the hipi and i finished all the sidequest except the rock-band flyer thingy quest because i don't know how to finish it.
now wen i go to the battlefeeld it ses There are no hippy soldiers left -- the way to their camp is clear!
and wen i went to the hipi-camp it ses
You walk through the carnage of the battlefield, feeling your anger (and your gorge) rise with every casualty you see. True, most of them are casualties
that you created, but it still makes you mad to see life wasted like that. I mean, you're supposed to be beating up hippies and frat boys to steal their
loot and pass the time, not because there's some damn war going on. Senseless violence isn't as much fun if there's a purpose behind it.

You glance through the mist obscuring the battlefield (there always seems to be mist on a battlefield -- some say it's to obscure the parts that haven't
finished loading yet, but you don't know what that means) and see a chubby, unkempt figure dressed in a bathrobe, pajama pants, and very improbable sandals.
It must be... it is... the Great Wisniewski, the hippy who has the respect and awe of all of the hippies in the hippy camp. Surely, together, you can find
a way to end the war. You cautiously approach, making sure not to spill his beverage.

"Mr. Wisnieski!" you say.

"Hey, I'm not Mr. Wisniewski, man," he says. "Just call me 'This Guy.' That's me."

"Okay...umm...This Guy, this stupid war has got to stop. It has to end here." He stares at you blankly, so you try to speak his language. "This is the end,
beautiful friend," you say. "Can you picture what will be? So limitless and free..."

He spins around angrily. "No way, man! Those rotten frat boys killed our pet ferret! They entered a world of pain when they did that. A world of pain."

"The ferret committed suicide!" you say.

This Guy's eyes go wide. "That's what the Man wants you to think, man!" he shouts. "It was a huge conspiracy, man. No way the ferret acted alone. I mean,
if you look at the angle at which the ferret struck the pavement, man, you'll see that -- well, there's some information that's been brought to light --
I mean, do you really think you should be talking to me that way, when I have this information -- I mean, they killed our ferret, man! That ferret really
tied the camp together!"

"Well," you say, "since I can't talk some sense into you, maybe I can beat some into you. Bring it on."

Oh, It's Already Been Broughten... what should i do?

Post 108 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Saturday, 11-Sep-2010 13:47:34

woohoo!
You win the fight! This Guy slumps over, defeated, then sits down in the lotus position. He's hurt pretty badly, but he manages to slow his breathing and
begins chanting "Ooooommmmm," looking pretty serene for somebody whose insides are mostly on the outside.

"Uh, shouldn't you go see a doctor or something?" you ask.

He looks up at you and smiles beatifically. "Well, man, you see, for hippies death isn't the end of a journey, it's the beginning of a journey. We do not
mourn our passing because we know we will continue on our karmic quest for enlightenment. Death is just a doorway, man. I knew I might die out here, so
I spent all morning setting my affairs in order. I am at peace and prepared to move on, man."

He resumes chanting, then stops and looks troubled. "But wait, man... did I leave the gas on?"

BOOM.

The entire hippy camp makes a sudden, magical conversion into a giant ball of blue and orange fire. The resulting shockwave knocks you onto your back, which
is good, because the explosion is followed by a wave of shrapnel from broken clay beads, splintered incense sticks, and shattered glass "sculptures."

After a few aftershocks, all is silent except for the crackling of flame and the moans of the wounded. A flaming wheel from one of the hippies' looms comes
rolling out of the wreckage, obligatorially, and settles at your feet.

You stare open-mouthed at the carnage that used to be the hippy camp, then remember you're obligated to make a witty remark. "Thanks, guys," you say, as
you strut off the battlefield, "it's been a gas."

You don't really finish the game. If you want to ascend, you have to complete the naughty sorceress quest, but when you ascend you have to complete the same quests again, sure they're always adding new things to it but honestly it doesn't have an end.

Keepp up with the game it gets easy the longer you play, and there is all ways more adventures to have.

Post 124 by LeoGuardian (You mean there is something outside of this room with my computer in it?) on Wednesday, 22-Sep-2010 17:47:09

I have tried several methods to solve the Nemesis puzzle - the torn strips of paper. There are eight of them, and all I found on the internet is that edges are not ends, which would mean the perfect or straight tear cannot go on the end. I won't get into the gear-grinding geek gyrations of my brain I've tried to establish a pattern which I could use such as which tear matches what, but I can't figure that one out. Really disappointing but I guess it's just a matter of trying enough times to make it which is kind of a shame, unless one of you knows about how to solve it without seeing the pictures. We're dependent on what the alt text shows, and I'm presuming it's accurate / trying to do spatial pattern matches on the shapes, but as I said all to no avail.

Post 125 by Marissapc2010 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Wednesday, 22-Sep-2010 19:40:57

Post 126 by LeoGuardian (You mean there is something outside of this room with my computer in it?) on Thursday, 23-Sep-2010 16:21:14

OK first don't put spaces between the entries for the password. If you all want I'll tell you the pattern matching technique that works, but more experienced gamers will know on here what suffices as a reasonable giveaway and I don't want to be unfair with a spoiler or whatever it's called.
Just use your reader's ability to get you the alt tags for the graphics, those have meaning, basically describes the paper's edges. There is a method to the madness.

Post 127 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 26-Sep-2010 12:11:49

I'm sorry to say that I've sort of lost interest in KOL again. Of course that's how it often is with me. But the idea of having a limited number of adventures per day never did sit quite right with me. So I usually end up going back to the game I've been playing now for well nigh six years, that being Sryth. I discovered it shortly after moving to Idaho and so the game definitely has a special place in my heart because of that. And then of course it's an excellent game in its own right. And you're not required to stuff yourself or get drunk in order to get more adventures. I like the humor in KOL but some of the gameplay mechanics just get on my nerves.

Post 128 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Sunday, 26-Sep-2010 12:22:41

yeah, the limited adventures thing is pointless. why do they do that?. i need a .. well, i don't know what i need, i ned magic to tell me how to do the naughty sorceress lair. i'm so... sick of it.

Post 129 by Marissapc2010 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Sunday, 26-Sep-2010 16:46:11

yeah we were talking about that the other day. the stupid adventure limit is pointless

Post 130 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Monday, 27-Sep-2010 14:32:55

Yes I agree the limet adventures thing sucks, but there are items u can equip to increese that. In away it is good to limit your adventures there is life out side of KoL and its easy to forget that. I've been sucked in to KoL for hours and lost track of the time. In away its saying hey this game is great, but you got to get off the computer at some point. Which of corse we don't I'm on my computer 24 7, but it helps for people who put there whole life in to it. Also limet on adventures help make surtent asbects of the game more rewarding such as acentions, and trophies. Its also when you take away limets the game is less fun. If you could have all the meat and items you wanted there wouldn't be anything to work for or there wouldn't be a point to the game. It also lets you look forword for things to do tomorrow and just wait to finish a quest exetra is fun too.

Post 131 by Marissapc2010 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Monday, 27-Sep-2010 17:41:19

Oh I don't think everything should be unlimited. just adventures. now I just wait a few days then play again so they add up a bit.

Post 132 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Tuesday, 28-Sep-2010 12:55:19

I've been known to do that too. The limit is 200 adventures though. If you log in and eat and drink booze you can have over 200, but if you leave it like that and don't play, the next day it resets back to 200. Now that to me is dumb because if you already have the adventures, I don't see why they should be taken away.

Post 133 by Marissapc2010 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Tuesday, 28-Sep-2010 17:26:09

what's the drink that will give you the most adventures?

Post 134 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Tuesday, 28-Sep-2010 20:38:37

Depends on your pocket money you can get corps drinks that give 20 adventures for a hevey price same with mushroom wines. I recamend horazontel tangos, fuz bumps, a little some some, pink ponies, perpendiculer hulas, carla da meals I butchered a lot of these they are the fruity girl drinks and Despite the name they are amung the best booz in the kingdom. Each give 10 to 15 adventures, and 4 drunkness. See the page on booze here.
http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Booze
Best food if your wondering don't mind paying 15 to 12k is hi mein any type you can eat 3 a day each gives 20+ adventures. Just as good hell ramen you can eat 2 aday should cost you around 6k gives 20+ adventures each. Sometimes you get lucky and can find cheep hi mein or ramen.

Post 135 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Tuesday, 28-Sep-2010 22:55:57

It also depends on your class. If you're a muscle class you might want fuzzbumps or slip n slides. If you're mysticality you want horizontal tangos, and if you're moxy you want perpendicular hulas. I know there's more but I'm not too familiar with the others that Jeff just mentioned.

Post 140 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Saturday, 02-Oct-2010 17:24:22

You can't fully join your guild until level 5 don't werry about it. Its just how the game works the most importent thing is to use your guilds trainer. I'm guessing you are talking about the Brother Hold of the Smack Down right? Thats your guild.

so once you reach level 15 or whatever level you can asend on, what can you do if you don't asend? I mean I no you have the choice to or not, and I was just wondering like can you keep going up levels? or you might as well asend cause there's nothing really else for you to do. has anyone even asended yet on here?

Post 144 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Tuesday, 05-Oct-2010 10:41:48

i think that's right, it's either asend, or nothing. once you asend, you have to do the same stuff again. they are always ading more stuff to the game, but yeah.

Post 145 by Bryan (This site is so "educational") on Tuesday, 05-Oct-2010 14:39:35

there are trophy's you can get when you get to a certain level, there are 2 areas that i know of right now that are for those wanting to keep going, 1 is the old man and the other is a Shimmering Portal.
the highest level I've seen was around 50? I think.
o hehehe think there is a dungeon as well that you can go to?

What's the shimmering portal, and how do you get to it? I do know about the sea, but I'll warn you right now, the quests are a bitch. I wouldn't even attempt them until you're at least level 20. If you have any specific questions about the sea, I'll be happy to answer them, but for now I'll leave it at that. They're useful though, and you can even acquire a cool underwater skill depending on your class. There's also Hobopolis and the slime tube if your clan does those runs (and if you're a part of our clan, we try to get enough people together to do them as often as we can.)

Post 148 by Bryan (This site is so "educational") on Tuesday, 05-Oct-2010 16:36:33

A Shimmering Portal
What it does: Allows you to adventure at El Vibrato Island if the portal is Charged with a El Vibrato power sphere or a overcharged El Vibrato Power sphere.
How to get: Use an El Vibrato Trapezoid which can be gotten by adventuring at
The Poop Deck until you get the non-combat adventure O Cap'm, my Cap'm. Choose to front the meat and take the wheel and then choose to go to the coordinates??? Smiles, sorry, if you want the coordinates you’ll have to ask.

Post 149 by Marissapc2010 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Tuesday, 05-Oct-2010 17:07:21

oh cool. so you don't have to just asend at level fifteen. good stuff

Post 150 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Wednesday, 06-Oct-2010 0:37:48

@148 Come on just because you played alot doesn't give you the right to be a asshole. If you want the cordanents you can find them here. You first need to get thetrapazoid which if I recall you get it at the stone triangle, if not the El Vibrato island and then the spheres you deffently get them at the El Vibrato Island. Using combanations of cards with the right robot thing in the zone tells them to do something, so when you got a sphere there are commands to follow to turn it in to parts of the outfit, and the familiar the El Vibrato megadrome which takes a while to get, but its deffently worth it. I've done this so if you get stuck you can message me in KoL or on here KoL name is Jb77. Its been a while since I've done this maybe 10 acentions ago, so I wasn't sure about the trapazoid.

Post 151 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Wednesday, 06-Oct-2010 0:42:59

Hell's_Angel yep you can acend when ever you want. In fact there are trophies for getting to level 30 a trophy for each class I got the sauceror one getting the pastamancer one soon. Also when you acend for the first time you may want to acend under a Moxie sign so you can get the skill to wear shirts! Acending under different signs give different effects, and unlock a new ariea depending on the sign. Acending is basicly starting over again these are called runs. You can change your class, gender, add restrictions and chose what kind of run you want. Hardcore is you have limeted access to your items and can't use surtent features of the game. Its a lot, and I'll post more if you want it.

Post 152 by Bryan (This site is so "educational") on Wednesday, 06-Oct-2010 1:08:31

did not want to spoil the fun for those that wanted to figure it out for there selfs, so *warrning spoiler; Installed in your campsite by using an El Vibrato trapezoid. Upon initial installation, the portal has 20 charges, allowing 20 adventures in the zone. Rollover does not recharge A Shimmering Portal. Only El Vibrato power spheres and overcharged El Vibrato power spheres do that.
El Vibrato power spheres add 5 charges to the portal. – Coordinates at (59,10), (86,40), & (48,47)
overcharged El Vibrato power spheres add 10 charges to the portal. Punchcards
Instructing a lonely construct to MODIFY SPHERE with an El Vibrato power sphere in inventory.
Machinations is not encountered without increasing the rate of non-combat adventures. A Shimmering Portal is removed from your campground after ascending. Each of the combat encounters here have special responses when El Vibrato punchcards are used on them. See their individual pages for details. The text shown under the Last Adventure bar states the zone's name as El Vibrato Island. Exiting combat without losing an adventure (through the use of the navel ring of navel gazing, divine champagne poppers, tattered scraps of paper or other like combat items and skills) still consumes a charge from the portal.

@Bryan oh okay, but if you said that much you could of just finished by giving the cordanents.
@the time keeper I've acended 18 times now all most on my 20th, colected 67 familiars, 45 trophies and 50 tatoos. I know this game mostly inside out and upside down for the most part. I'll be glad to help you, you are not hopeless you can do this. If you use aim we can talk on that, or in game chat what is your in game name? Mine is jb77.

Hey guys big news in the Kingdom today! The moons are finely labled so we know what they are!! Also the Noob traning has changed and getting sewer items is easy you just use a chewing gum on a string doesn't take a adventure. The sewer is gone in the market, and the turtle totom is now a weapon! Also there has been some menu pane changes in the crafting havn't checked that out.

Yep, I have a few of those. Just keep an eye on the item of the month, and if you want, donate 10 dollars so you can get an Mr. A, which you can use to buy it. This month's familiar is the Knob Goblin Organ Grinder, it attacks your opponents, gives you meat and makes different pies for you depending on the zone you're in. They depend on the element, and there's also underwater ones.

well I just donated ten dollars so now I have the organ grinder goblin. unfortunetly I only had like three adventures left but he seems pretty cool. will he just randomly make pies or do I have to get him stuff to do it? maybe no one noes the answer to this question. lol.

Post 172 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 10-Oct-2010 14:15:25

It gets the parts needed to make pies from combat adventures. Its equitment reduces the amount of parts it meeds for the pies. So basicly after combat adventures offten you will get a pie. There are different pies each give 2 fullness. There is pies for normal and elamental creatures, water, and bosses. The normal one and the elamental ones just give adventures, and stats, the water pies give a effect 1 less adventure for under water adventures, and the boss one gives one called badass.

Post 173 by Jeff (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 10-Oct-2010 14:16:33

So in other words just adventure and it will drop pies at the end of combat.

Hey so when they do a new ariea, or revamp a levil its all immage map stuff which is like pictures and stuff, and you can onlly get to the right one by tabbing, or links list. Using the arro keys don't really work at least not for me. Go to the Cobb's Knob and se if its anoying for you, and if it is go to report a bug and tell them. Do this when ever there is something unaccessible or anoying in the game. I did this, but the more people it effects the more likely something may be done about it.

Hi,
This topic hasn't seen the light of day in awhile, so I figured I'd bring it back up before it gets sucked into the land of no return, lol.
In all seriousness, I'm bringing this back to the top in case there are any new members who are interested in playing Ko-l, or new Ko-l members looking for a clan to join. As has been stated previously, Eric Cartman's Sweet Clan is still accepting new members and is alive and well.
So what's new in the kingdom? Right now it's almost Christmas, so Crimbo is in full swing. There are a few zones that open from your advent calendar: the Lollipop Forest, Fudge Mountain and the gummy mines. Each has its own set of drops that are used for a variety of things such as food, jewelry, and potions. Crimbo town is also around, it showed up late but you can send presents to other players and stuff their stockings. December's item of the month is a peppermint patch similar to the pumpkin patch except it grows peppermint sprouts. You can make a familiar out of them as well as a shirt, pants and a couple of other items. No full outfit though sadly. That's about all I can think of that's new, so feel free to respond to this topic.
